What is Red Rock, NV?
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area (RRCNCA) is located just West of Las Vegas, NV. A swift 4.5 hour drive from Phoenix, AZ will place you into a whole new world of rock climbing! Towering sandstone walls, secluded high-desert vibes, and of course incredibly easy access. This area boasts more than 2,500 climbing routes that can either be fun single-pitches or challenging multi-pitch endeavors.
RED ROCK RETREAT REGISTRATION OPTIONS
RED ROCK RETREAT - BASE CAMP LEVEL | $650.00
Never been to Red Rock or haven’t had an opportunity to climb outside yet, and looking to get the Grand Tour? This is it! Over the three days together we get to explore the ins-and-outs of the numerous single-pitch crags that are just a few minutes walk from the road. Standard amenities include:
- 3 Nights/ 3 Days at Red Rock Campground with fellow Guests.
- Transportation to/from climbing areas and your campsite.
- Light Breakfast fare with Presta Coffee freshly brewed each morning for a solid start to the day.
- Two evening group dinners that accommodate all tastes and diets.
- Fireside hangouts to share stoke and stories!
RED ROCK RETREAT - HIGH CAMP LEVEL | $750.00
This includes all amenities of Base Camp Level plus two days of learning how to climb Traditional Routes in one of the most spectacular locations to learn in. For newer outdoor climbers, this will be a full Gym-to-Crag experience that will have you never wanting to leave Red Rock!
RED ROCK RETREAT - SUMMIT LEVEL | $850.00
This includes all amenities of Base Camp Level plus two days of Privately Guided Multi-Pitch Climbing at a 2:1 ratio or several days of focused Multi-Pitch Climbing Instruction that will make you eager to climb all of the tall amazing moderates that Red Rock has to offer!

Arriving after 3pm to the Group Site at Red Rock Campground, you will be greeted at check-in with a swag bag and cool refreshments while our Guides help you establish your tent site and get you acquainted with the surroundings, while also introducing you to other Guests. We will help you take an initial account of your equipment that you will need for the next few days out on the rock. No group dinner will be provided this evening, as Guests may arrive at any time.
PRIVATE RED ROCK OPTIONS
A DAY IN RED ROCK | MULTI-PITCH
This includes all amenities of Base Camp Level plus two days of learning how to climb Traditional Routes in one of the most spectacular locations to learn in. For newer outdoor climbers, this will be a full Gym-to-Crag experience that will have you never wanting to leave Red Rock!
A DAY IN RED ROCK | SINGLE-PITCH
Looking to add on more days of climbing in Red Rock before you join us for the Red Rock Retreat? This private single-pitch day out will allow you to obtain an expansive tour of several Red Rock areas mid-week. You and your Guide will discuss route options, climbing areas, and potential mini-projects for you and some friends to work on during this day out on the sandstone!
ITINERARY & AMENITIES
March 22nd | Light breakfast fare (Yogurt/Granola/Fruit) and of course freshly brewed Presta Coffee will be awaiting you early at 6:45am. At 7:30am we will break out into our groups where you will go through a formal introduction with your Guides and then proceed to the climbing areas!
- All groups will start off at the single-pitch crags to get acquainted with the area and then will disperse after a few hours to areas that cater to your interests and instructional content.
Everyone will arrive back at the Group site in the late-afternoon for tea, coffee, and snacks with time built in to relax and refresh before the first evening group dinner. While dinner is winding down, fireside hang outs will be ramping up.
March 23nd | Light breakfast fare and freshly brewed Presta Coffee will be awaiting you at 6:45am. At 7:30am we will break out into our groups where you will go through a briefing with your Guides and then proceed to the climbing areas!
- Groups that sign up for Multi-Pitch Climbing may depart sooner than the groups for Single-Pitch Climbing.
Everyone will arrive back at the Group site in the late-afternoon for tea, coffee, and snacks with time built in to relax and refresh before the second group dinner. While dinner is winding down, the logs on the fire will be building up.
March 24th | Our final day! Light breakfast fare and freshly brewed Presta Coffee will be awaiting you at 6:45am. At 7:30am we will break out into our groups where you will go through a briefing with your Guides and then proceed to the climbing areas!
- Groups that sign up for Multi-Pitch Climbing may depart sooner than the groups for Single-Pitch Climbing.
Everyone has the option to leave their campsite up and pack up in the afternoon or compile it together in the morning prior to the start of the day. We will arrive back at the Group site in the early-afternoon for refreshments and snacks with time built in to get you on the road home after farewells are had!
